Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Orcheograph (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with Orcheograph Command (the “Service”), the creator content execution feature of the Orcheograph platform. This policy applies only to Orcheograph Command as it currently exists. It does not describe features that are not yet built or services that are not currently integrated.

This policy is written for users of the Service, who are currently located in the United States, with particular disclosures for California residents below. Orcheograph does not currently market or direct the Service to users in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and this policy does not address the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar non-U.S. frameworks. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use Orcheograph Command:

  • Account and profile information. Your name, email address, location (city and country), content categories, capacity tier, platform preferences, and goals you provide when setting up your creator profile.
  • Content you create. Drafts, captions, journal entries, storyboard narratives, content ideas, series structures, and other written material you generate or input while using the Service.
  • Uploaded media. Photos and videos you upload for use in content planning, visual direction, or final post creation.
  • Connected platform data. If you connect your Instagram account, we collect your Instagram username, published post captions, media type, post timestamps, and engagement metrics (reach, saves, likes, comments, shares, follower count).
  • Product information. If you provide a product link, we retrieve the associated product image for use in your content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Generate content drafts, captions, platform-specific copy, visual direction, and design briefs on your behalf
  • Analyze uploaded photos and videos to support content planning
  • Generate a posting schedule based on your location, capacity, and content categories
  • Sync and display your connected Instagram performance data
  • Process product images for use in your content
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Orcheograph Command. Each is listed with what is sent and why.

Anthropic (Claude API)

We send certain content you create and certain information you provide to Anthropic's Claude API to generate drafts, platform-specific copy, design briefs, visual direction, and posting schedules. Depending on the feature you use, this may include your written content, your location, your creator profile context, and uploaded photos.

When using our platform-copy generation feature, the underlying AI model may perform a limited number of web searches to inform its output. These searches are executed by Anthropic's infrastructure and may include fragments of your content context. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy and API terms. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models.

Remove.bg

When you provide a product link, we may send the associated product image to Remove.bg to remove its background for use in your content. This applies only to product images and does not include any personal information about you.

OpenAI Whisper (Audio Transcription)

When you upload a video file in Final Looks, the audio is extracted from that video and sent to OpenAI's Whisper API (whisper-1model) for transcription. The transcript is used solely to evaluate the video's spoken content during pre-publish review, specifically spoken call-to-action strength, branded content disclosure in speech, and content flags. The video file is sent directly from our server to OpenAI's API and is not stored by Orcheograph. OpenAI's handling of this data is governed by its own API data usage policy. OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models.

Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

If you choose to connect your Instagram account, we use Instagram's Graph API to retrieve your profile and post data. We request the following permissions: basic business account access and insights access.

We collect and store your Instagram username, post captions, media metadata, and engagement metrics. This data is used solely to display your performance data within the Service and to support content planning. We do not sell, share, or use this data for advertising, and we do not use it to build user profiles beyond the operation of the Service.

Supabase

We use Supabase as our database and file storage provider. All account information, content you create, uploaded media, and connected platform data is stored in Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase does not have independent access to use your data for any purpose other than providing storage and database services to us.

Vercel and GitHub

We use Vercel to host and run the Service, and GitHub to store and manage our source code. Neither service has access to your account content beyond what is necessary to operate the Service's infrastructure.

We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking tools beyond what is described above.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page within the Service. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, content plans, ideas, uploaded assets, connected Instagram data, and all associated records. This action cannot be undone.

If you have connected your Instagram account, you may also request deletion of your Instagram-linked data directly through Meta's platform tools, or by deleting your Orcheograph account, which automatically triggers removal of all Instagram-linked data we hold, including synced posts, metrics, and your connection record.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of secure, access-controlled infrastructure for storage and transmission. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.
  • Right to delete. You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions required by law.
  • Right to correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is described in Section 1.

To exercise any of these rights, you may delete your account directly through Settings, or contact us at [email protected] with your request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

7. Children's Privacy

Orcheograph Command is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, you can reach us at [email protected].
